Porcelain

Porcelain toilets, sinks and tubs are coated with a thin layer of glass which gives them their glossy appearance. The absorption and build up of water minerals over time will dull their finish and leave unsightly rings. Cleaning will require harsh chemicals and abrasives that will further damage the surface and eventually be ineffective. Porcelain must be sealed for the same reasons you seal shower glass doors.

Our sealants are also effective on baked enamel bath fixtures.

Seeing is believing

Porcelain basins, toilet bowls, and other fixtures contain millions of minute pores which act as a natural gathering place for minerals and soap scum, which can cause unsightly stains. But Diamond Bond creates an impermeable barrier on the porcelain surfaces, so mineral deposits and soap scum can’t possibly gather or collect. This eliminates the creation of stains and makes future clean-up fast and easy. Check out these videos to see Diamond Bond in action!

UNTREATED PORCELAIN

Left untreated, spills and contaminants can collect atop the surface of porcelain and cause permanent damage and stains.

TREATED PORCELAIN

Treated with Diamond Bond, spills are unable to penetrate the surface of the porcelain and can easily be wiped away.

Care Instructions for Porcelain Toilets, Sinks, Tubs, Bidets, etc.

Use a #98 pad or nylon scrub brush in conjunction with Diamond Bond Cleaner & Revitalizer or a mild cleaner of your choice and clean the surfaces weekly. Again, do not use cleaners with abrasives or acids. They will greatly reduce the amount of time our sealants will be effective. Our sealants create a non-stick surface, but regular maintenance with mild cleaners is absolutely necessary for best results.
